Good morning. It's 60 and cloudy. The high will be 70 and there's talk of a 50% chance of rain today.

The Home Health nurse will be coming around later this morning to change my wound vacuum dressing. Other than that I really have nothing else planned other than my usual day to day activities (yes, there are things I don't tell you about) and maybe a bit of layout work if I get the chance.

It's 57 and partly cloudy here in the sportsman's paradise. The high will be near 70 and it will be partly cloudy.

For most of the afternoon yesterday we were expecting a storm front to come through at any time. Well, the weather guesser was wrong again and missed the timing by several hours. I shut down my computer at 8 pm and the storm hit at 8:04 pm and did some wild tricks with the power for about ten minutes. The power never went off completely but the lights were flickering like crazy. Then the storm front hit here with winds that hadn't been predicted. No damage here that I can see with the exception of some branches blown down and a ton of pine needles added to what was already there. It was mostly wind, not much rain to speak of. Nothing planned for today other than my usual day to day activities.

Good morning. It's 36 and sunny. That barbed wire fence between here and the north pole has done fell down again. The high is projected to hit 65 and it will be clear and sunny.

Nothing special happening today, just another day with my feet up most likely. I may get some light layout work done as well. There's still some stuff to be cleared off and put away. It's amazing how little it takes to clutter things up. I have everything I need to put the diner in place on the layout. Now I just have to get to the point that I can gey under the layout to the larger of the two access holes (the park in this case) to do the work. That will also give me a chance to clean the AC filter. Maybe in another week or two.

Good morning. It's 36 and clear. The high will be 67 and sunny.

Not much happening today with the exception of the weekly doctors appointment. Maybe today I'll find out how much I'll be stuck with this vacuum unit. Results came back on my lab work. All good. No need to change anything. I had an issue with a loco not wanting to program on the program track yesterday. Turns out the program track doesn't have enough power so I programmed it on the main. Worked fine then. All I was doing was changing the address. I can read the CV's just fine while on the program track, just when it comes to changing any it has to be on the main. Not sure about the type of decoder but it's the only one I have that exhibits this behavior. I think I picked it up as a freebie in a trade. Nice things about having a layout set up for DC operation is I can turn off all the blocks but the one I'm using to program the loco on, so no need to remove the others from the track.

Good afternoon. It's 62 and cloudy. The high will be 71 and it will be partly cloudy.

I wasn't feeling well this morning due to a bad blood sugar crash last night. Woke up feeling disoriented and dizzy. Fortunately that's past. Had my usual Wednesday visit with the Home Health nurse. Other than that, nothing's going on today other than my usual day-to-day activities.

Good morning. It's 35 with a rain and snow mix. The high will be around 50 and it will will be cloudy.

I'm able to read somewhat better today for about 8 to 10 minutes at a time. That's better than it was yesterday for sure. I'm hoping this clears up soon. To say that it's aggravating is an understatement to say the least. I'm debating on whether or not to go into town today and pay some bills that can't be paid any other way or hold off until tomorrow when I have to go into town anyway for my doctor appointment. I know it would be better to consolidate all the errands into one trip but I'm feeling rather like the Vontage gnome in those cabin fever commercials when he says I've got to get out of here. There's also the grocery shopping to consider.

Good morning. It's 44 and cloudy. The high is forecast to be 57 and it will be partly cloudy. According to the weather guesser the chance of rain is zip. He said that yesterday and it rained off and on all day.

Went out yesterday and paid those bills that have to be paid in person. Thankfully there's only a few of them. Most of the others I paid online. I spent part of the day at my parent's place getting their new fax machine set up for them and setting up a new printer/scanner on the computer. For that I got treated to dinner at Ryan's in DeRidder. I have to go to town today for my once a week visit to the foot doc. Hopefully I can part company with this wound vac. I'll go from there to Wal-Mart to get the grocery shopping done.

Good morning. It's 43 and cloudy. The high today will be in the mid 50's and rain is a definite possibility later today with a 15% chance at 1 pm increasing to an 80% chance by 10 pm.

I'm expecting a visit from a Home Health nurse around noon today. After she changes the dressing on my feet I'll be heading to Wal-Mart to finish the shopping. Whatever else happens today will occur of it's own accord. Some layout work is a possibility.

Good morning. It's 45 and cloudy. The high will be in the low 60's and it will be partly cloudy.

The VCR I picked up yesterday is working just fine, even better than I expected, as it seems to have no problems whatsoever. No remote was included but it took me only a couple of minutes to program my universal remote for it. Nothing special on the schedule today except to go to the pharmacy later to get some prescriptions refilled, six in all.Looking at possibly getting some layout work done today, no matter how minor it is, even if it's just replacing some structure lights.

Good morning. It's 36 with some clouds. The high will be in the low 50's and it will be partly cloudy.

I'm feeling the effects this morning of not having my allergy medicine. I'm going to try to get some layout work done today, if nothing else intrudes on my time. Photos show that there are plenty of gray hairs on the layout and they need to be dealt with. What can I expect? I shed like a dang cat! There's also a section of road that needs to be taken up. The railroad crossings it led to have been gone a long time. I'll be glad when I can get under the layout and get the shop-vac that's under there. I'll be able to give the layout a proper cleaning then. Not much of anything else on the agenda today.

Good morning. It's 44 here and -200 in Satan's penthouse. The high will be in the mid 50's and there's talk of a 70% chance of rain.

Internet problems prevented me from going online earlier this morning. Nice to see that the Saint's won but I never dreamed that they would stomp the Colts by the runaway score of 31-17. That was a surprise. I wonder how many people lost big bets on that game. Nothing in particular scheduled for today. I picked enough hairs off the layout yesterday to knit a handkerchief! The sooner I can give it a proper cleaning the better.

Good morning. It's 28 here with some passing clouds. The high will be about 50 and it will be partly cloudy.

Have to check this morning to see if my two remaining prescriptions have finally come in. If they haven't I'm gonna be building a fire under someones butt and lighting it off with gasoline and a flare. Other than that there's not much happening today. The Home Health nurse will be coming later to reattach my wound vacuum. Oh joy. NOT! Hopefully soon I'll be able to get back to doing some serious layout work, like cleaning it. The track is OK, but something has got to be done about the dust on the scenery. I can only reach a small portion of it. Until I can get underneath to the access holes the rest will have to wait.

Good morning. It's 35 with a rain/snow mix. The high will be 43 with more rain. Snow is in the forecast for tonight.

Yesterday I was finally able to get the final two prescriptions I needed, Prevacid and Claritin, so at least I wasn't sick last night as I had been the previous couple of nights. Today I intend to get some light layout work done. What that's going to be I don't know yet. There's still a section of road just begging to be torn up.

Good morning. It's 34 and the white stuff is falling. The expected high will be 39 with an additional accumulation of 1 to 2 inches of the white stuff.

Woke up this morning to find some strange looking white stuff on the ground and anything else it could land on. My car has gone from blue to white. More of this stuff is expected to appear later today. I'm hoping it goes away soon. Nothing on the schedule for today, yet.
